The BC PNP Tech Pilot\u00a0offers a fast-track immigration pathway for IT workers and international students who have a valid job offer in one of\u00a029 eligible occupations.<\/p>\n
Candidates receive points for their human capital such as their education, work experience, and language skills when they register through BC’s\u00a0Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).<\/p>\n
Candidates invited under the\u00a0Skills Immigration and\u00a0Express Entry BC\u00a0streams need a valid job offer from a BC-based employer.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The benefit of receiving a nomination invitation under Express Entry BC is that successful candidates get an extra 600 points toward their\u00a0Express Entry\u00a0Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)\u00a0score which virtually guarantees they will receive an\u00a0Invitation to Apply (ITA)\u00a0for Canadian permanent residence in the next Express Entry draw.<\/p>\n
Skills Immigration candidates who get invitations from BC will have their permanent residence applications processed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)\u00a0separately from the\u00a0Express Entry system.\u00a0<\/p>\n
