600 PNP Candidates invited in Express Entry draw<\/p>\n

Canada held a program-specific Express Entry draw this week, inviting 600 immigration candidates to apply for permanent residence. Invited candidates needed to have a provincial nomination through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).<\/p>\n

Those with a provincial nomination get an additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points. This practically guarantees that they will receive an invitation to apply for permanent residence in a subsequent Express Entry draw.<\/p>\n

The minimum CRS score required to receive an invitation to apply was 771. This was the highest requirement this year. This may be because of the large number of candidates currently in the pool.<\/p>\n

CEC Express Entry draw issues 3,300 invitations<\/p>\n

The latest Express Entry draw saw invitations issued to 3,300 immigration candidates to apply for permanent residence. In this draw, candidates were eligible for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). This means that they have Canadian work experience and they are likely already in Canada. A Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 454 was enough to ensure receipt of an Invitation To Apply (ITA).<\/p>\n

British Columbia issues 302 invitations in PNP draw<\/p>\n

British Columbia has invited 302 candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence in Canada. The province has now invited close to 6,000 candidates this year. Invitations were issued to candidates through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP)\u2019s Skills Immigration (SI) and Express Entry BC (EEBC).
