Here are the results of Canada’s most recent Express Entry draw on January 18, 2023.<\/p>\n
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 5,500 invites to Canadian permanent residence applicants in the latest all-program draw \u2014 including candidates in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).<\/p>\n
This latest draw invited candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 490, down 17 points from the draw that took place on January 11, 2023\u00a0(minimum CRS score of 507).<\/p>\n
Express Entry applicants can expect Canada to conduct another\u00a0draw in around two weeks.<\/p>\n
About Express Entry<\/p>\n
Express Entry is the top federal immigration pathway in Canada.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This country’s federal government\u00a0uses Express Entry to bring skilled workers from around the world\u00a0to Canada through permanent residence (PR).<\/p>\n
Becoming a Canadian permanent resident through the\u00a0Express Entry application management system first\u00a0requires foreign nationals to be\u00a0eligible for any of the three programs that fall\u00a0under this system. After confirming their eligibility for one or more of these programs, Express Entry applicants\u00a0can then submit a profile through IRCC’s online portal and review their CRS score.\u00a0

IRCC will then conduct a randomized draw roughly every two weeks.\u00a0Each draw will invite\u00a0candidates above the cut-off CRS score for that draw to apply for Canadian PR after\u00a0receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA).\u00a0<\/p>\n
Express Entry applicants who receive\u00a0an ITA will have 60 days (from the date of receipt) to finish and submit their PR application online to IRCC.<\/p>\n
