Through this pilot, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) will\u00a0partner with communities\u00a0of less than 75,000 residents to facilitate the settlement of newcomer entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n<p>For a B.C. community to qualify, it\u00a0must\u00a0be located more than 30\u00a0kilometres away from an urban center of more than 75,000 people. The pilot is designed to help smaller communities in British Columbia attract businesses that meet local needs, provide employment\u00a0and contribute to the local economy.<\/p>\n<p>Before registering to the BC PNP, individuals interested in the pilot need an official community referral\u00a0resulting\u00a0from an\u00a0exploratory visit to the\u00a0community where they\u00a0intend\u00a0to\u00a0establish a new\u00a0business.<\/p>\n<p>Other eligibility requirements include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a minimum of $100,000 in eligible business investments;<\/li>\n<li>a minimum personal net worth of $300,000;<\/li>\n<li>business and\/or work experience of\u00a03+ years as an active business owner-manager or 4+ years as a senior manager within the last 5 years;<\/li>\n<li>a minimum of 51 per cent ownership of the proposed business;<\/li>\n<li>the creation of at least one new job for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The BC PNP will hold an information session for communities on December 6th, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Foreign nationals looking to acquire\u00a0a pre-existing business can determine their eligibility for business immigration\u00a0to British Columbia under the BC PNP Entrepreneur Immigration.<\/p>\n<p>To learn more about your business immigration options, please fill out a free online assessment.<\/p>\n<p> Please visit:  <br \/> <a href=\"https:\/\/teo-bg.com\/en\/tractors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Our Sponsor<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program is launching a new immigration pilot program to attract immigrant entrepreneurs to less populated regions of the province.The two-year pilot, called the Entrepreneur Immigration \u2014 Regional Pilot, is\u00a0expected to open\u00a0in early 2019.
