The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program issued 494 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination to candidates in its Express Entry, Skills Immigration, and Entrepreneur Immigration streams in invitation rounds held October 31.<\/p>\n

The Express Entry invitations were issued to candidates in the Express Entry BC\u00a0Skilled Workers\u00a0and\u00a0Express Entry BC\u00a0International Graduates\u00a0categories.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Express Entry BC stream is for candidates\u00a0with active profiles in Canada’s\u00a0Express Entry\u00a0system.\u00a0Express Entry\u00a0manages the profiles of\u00a0candidates\u00a0in Canada’s three main federal economic immigration categories: the\u00a0Federal Skilled Worker Class,\u00a0Federal Skilled Trades Class, and Canadian Experience Class.<\/p>\n

If Express Entry candidates are issued a provincial nomination, they will be awarded an additional 600 points toward their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)\u00a0score, which effectively guarantees an Invitation to Apply for Canadian permanent residence in a future\u00a0federal draw.<\/p>\n

Those candidates invited under the BC PNP Skills Immigration Stream in this latest round will have their applications\u00a0for Canadian permanent residence processed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada outside of the Express Entry system once a provincial nomination is issued.<\/p>\n

All candidates invited under the Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration must have an\u00a0indeterminate, full-time job offer from an employer in the province.<\/p>\n

Individuals interested in applying for immigration to Canada under the Skills Immigration and Express Entry streams must first create an online profile using the BC PNP’s online system and submit a complete registration form.\u00a0Candidate profiles\u00a0are\u00a0assessed and assigned a score based on various factors, such as education, work experience and other factors.<\/p>\n

Another 35 invitations were issued to candidates who meet the eligibility\u00a0criteria for the Entrepreneur Immigration stream. Among other criteria, BC PNP Entrepreneur Immigration candidates must:<\/p>\n
