{"id":1771,"date":"2024-09-09T15:11:02","date_gmt":"2024-09-09T15:11:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/immigration-services.org\/?p=1771"},"modified":"2024-09-09T15:11:02","modified_gmt":"2024-09-09T15:11:02","slug":"ontario-issues-new-invitations-to-immigrant-entrepreneur-candidates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/immigration-services.org\/?p=1771","title":{"rendered":"Ontario issues new invitations to immigrant entrepreneur candidates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/images\/_1200x630_crop_center-center_82_none\/OntarioEntrepreneur.jpg?mtime=1656366081\" alt=\"\" title=\"\">  <img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Ontario Entrepreneur\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/images\/_newsThumbnail\/OntarioEntrepreneur.jpg\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" \/> <img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Ontario Entrepreneur\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/images\/_newsThumbnail\/OntarioEntrepreneur.jpg\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Government of Ontario has issued 18 invitations to apply to candidates in its Entrepreneur Stream in a draw held October 23.<\/p>\n<p>The minimum score for this draw was 110.<\/p>\n<p>The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)&#8217;s\u00a0Entrepreneur Stream\u00a0is\u00a0for individuals who are looking to start a new business or buy an existing business in Ontario.<\/p>\n<p>In order to become a candidate for the Entrepreneur Stream, individuals must first complete an &#8216;Expression of Interest&#8217; (EOI) profile and provide information on a number of factors related to their work experience, investments and human capital.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Candidates are given a score out of a possible 170 points.<\/p>\n<p>Successful applicants sign a\u00a0Performance Agreement\u00a0that includes commitments to invest and create jobs in Ontario. The OINP will then provide them with a letter supporting their application for a temporary work permit to Canada&#8217;s federal government.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Candidates who adhere to\u00a0the requirements outlined in the performance agreement may then be eligible for a provincial nomination from\u00a0Ontario for Canadian permanent residence.<\/p>\n<h4><em>Find out\u00a0the latest Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) updates with the new interactive\u00a0Canada PNP Finder.
