Here are the results of Canada’s most recent Express Entry draw on October 26, 2022.<\/p>\n
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 4,750 invites to Canadian permanent resident hopefuls in the latest all-program draw \u2014 including candidates in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).<\/p>\n
This latest draw invited candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 496, down four points from the draw that took place on October 12, 2022 (minimum CRS score of 500).<\/p>\n
This is the first time since December 2020 that the CRS score for an all-program draw \u2014 where IRCC invites candidates from all three Express Entry programs \u2014 has dropped below 500. December 2020 was also significant for Express Entry because that is when IRCC paused all-program draws prior to their resumption on July 6.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Canada’s next Express Entry draw will be conducted in roughly another two weeks’ time.<\/p>\n
About Express Entry<\/p>\n
Express Entry\u00a0\u2014 the online application management system for\u00a0skilled worker applications\u00a0from\u00a0the Canadian Experience Class\u00a0(CEC),\u00a0the Federal Skilled Worker Program\u00a0(FSWP),\u00a0and the Federal Skilled Trades Program\u00a0(FSTP) \u2014 is\u00a0one of this country\u2019s main methods for bringing international skilled workers to Canada through permanent residence.<\/p>\n
Applying for permanent residence through Express Entry begins with determining\u00a0your eligibility for any of the three programs under this application management\u00a0system. After determining eligibility, qualified applicants must submit an online profile on IRCC’s website and check their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.<\/p>\n
A candidate’s CRS score will be the primary factor that determines whether or not they receive an\u00a0invitation to apply (ITA), which is the key to becoming a permanent resident in Canada.<\/p>\n
ITA recipients will then have 60 days to\u00a0submit their electronic application for permanent residence (eAPR) in Canada.<\/p>\n
