The minimum score required was 445.<\/p>\n<p>Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) applied the\u00a0&#8216;tie-break&#8217; rule in the October 3\u00a0draw. As a result,\u00a0all\u00a0candidates with a\u00a0Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)\u00a0score of 445 and above who submitted an Express Entry profile\u00a0before October 2, 2018 at 04:02:11 UTC received an\u00a0Invitation to Apply (ITA)\u00a0in this draw.<\/p>\n<p>Individuals interested in entering the\u00a0Express Entry\u00a0pool must first meet the requirements for one of the following three programs managed by Express Entry: the\u00a0Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSWC), Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC).<\/p>\n<p>Once in the pool, a candidate&#8217;s ranking\u00a0is determined\u00a0on the strength of their education, work experience, language ability, and other factors. Candidates are ranked based on the CRS, which assigns a score out of 1,200.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates who have received an ITA have 60 days to submit a complete application for Canadian permanent resident status to the Government of Canada.<\/p>\n<p>There are many ways Express Entry candidates can boost their ranking in the Express Entry pool.
