The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program’s Tech Pilot program held its weekly draw on August 30, issuing 32 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination.<\/p>\n
The latest invitations from the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) were issued to\u00a0eligible candidates with a job offer that is at least one year (365 days) in duration in one of the tech pilot’s 29 priority occupations.<\/p>\n
Express Entry candidates nominated by British Columbia obtain an additional 600 additional points toward their\u00a0Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).<\/p>\n
Skills Immigration candidates\u00a0nominated by the province will have their\u00a0applications for Canadian permanent residence processed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) outside the Express Entry’s online application processing\u00a0system.<\/p>\n
In order to be issued an invitation to apply, both the candidate and their employer\u00a0must meet all program requirements at the time of registration.<\/p>\n
Registration to\u00a0the BC PNP Tech Pilot is\u00a0free and requires candidates to provide\u00a0information about their\u00a0BC employer. The BC PNP says its Tech Pilot\u00a0offers faster processing\u00a0for applications with processing\u00a0times\u00a0of two to three months from receipt.<\/p>\n
To begin, individuals interested in immigrating to Canada through the BC PNP are required to submit a complete an online profile using the BC PNP’s Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).\u00a0<\/p>\n
