{"id":1832,"date":"2024-09-10T23:26:25","date_gmt":"2024-09-10T23:26:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/immigration-services.org\/?p=1832"},"modified":"2024-09-10T23:26:25","modified_gmt":"2024-09-10T23:26:25","slug":"quebec-set-to-launch-new-expression-of-interest-portal-arrima-in-september","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/immigration-services.org\/?p=1832","title":{"rendered":"Quebec set to launch new Expression of Interest portal, Arrima, in September"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/images\/_1200x630_crop_center-center_82_none\/expression-of-interest-system-arrima-new.jpg?mtime=1656366896\" alt=\"\" title=\"\">  <img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Expression of interest system arrima new\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/images\/_newsThumbnail\/expression-of-interest-system-arrima-new.jpg\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" \/> <img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Expression of interest system arrima new\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/images\/_newsThumbnail\/expression-of-interest-system-arrima-new.jpg\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Government of Quebec announced on August 17 that the new Expression of Interest portal, <em>Arrima<\/em>, will begin accepting profile submissions to the Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP) in September 2018. <\/p>\n<p>Quebec&#8217;s Immigration Ministry,\u00a0the<em>\u00a0Minist\u00e8re de l&#8217;Immigration, de la Diversit\u00e9 et de l&#8217;Inclusion<\/em>\u00a0(MIDI), aims to facilitate the process of permanent immigration\u00a0through the Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP)\u00a0by moving away from the first-come, first-served\u00a0approach to an Expression of Interest (EOI) system.<\/p>\n<p>In a news release, MIDI said the new Arrima system will help:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>reduce processing times of permanent residence applications; and<\/li>\n<li>accelerate the integration of eligible skilled workers in Quebec.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The\u00a0QSWP&#8217;s Expression of Interest system will require those interested in\u00a0the program to complete a profile in order to be entered into Quebec&#8217;s Expression of Interest Bank. Once in the bank, candidate profiles will be ranked based on the information submitted.<\/p>\n<p>The table below provides a comparison between Quebec&#8217;s first-come, first-served and Expression of Interest model.<\/p>\n<p>Are you eligible for selection as a Quebec Skilled Worker?
