{"id":1848,"date":"2024-09-11T09:30:37","date_gmt":"2024-09-11T09:30:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/immigration-services.org\/?p=1848"},"modified":"2024-09-11T09:30:37","modified_gmt":"2024-09-11T09:30:37","slug":"british-columbia-selects-400-candidates-to-apply-for-a-provincial-nomination","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/immigration-services.org\/?p=1848","title":{"rendered":"British Columbia selects 400 candidates to apply for a provincial nomination"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/images\/_1200x630_crop_center-center_82_none\/british-columbia-draw-july25.jpg?mtime=1656366544\" alt=\"\" title=\"\">  <img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"British columbia draw july25\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/images\/_newsThumbnail\/british-columbia-draw-july25.jpg\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" \/> <img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"British columbia draw july25\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/images\/_newsThumbnail\/british-columbia-draw-july25.jpg\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has issued 400 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination certificate to skilled workers and graduates under its Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC streams.<\/p>\n<p>All invitations in the July 25 draw were issued to candidates under\u00a0the BC PNP\u00a0Skills Immigration\u00a0and\u00a0Express Entry\u00a0streams.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates who received an invitation to apply under the\u00a0Express Entry BC: Skilled Worker and Express Entry BC: International Graduate\u00a0categories\u00a0will be awarded an additional\u00a0600 points under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) if they\u00a0receive a provincial nomination\u00a0certificate from the Government of British Columbia.<\/p>\n<p>Others invited to apply for a provincial nomination certificate under the Skills Immigration categories will have their applications for Canadian permanent residence processed outside the Express Entry system.<\/p>\n<p>Individuals interested in applying for immigration to British Columbia under the BC PNP must first create an online profile with using the BC PNP&#8217;s online system and submit a complete registration form. Applicants&#8217; profiles are then assessed and are assigned a score based on various factors, such as education, work experience and other factors. <\/p>\n<p>Generally, candidates\u00a0applying to the categories managed under the BC PNP require an\u00a0indeterminate, full-time job offer from an employer in the province.
