{"id":1886,"date":"2024-09-12T07:21:40","date_gmt":"2024-09-12T07:21:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/immigration-services.org\/?p=1886"},"modified":"2024-09-12T07:21:40","modified_gmt":"2024-09-12T07:21:40","slug":"british-columbia-invites-workers-graduates-and-entrepreneurs-to-apply-for-immigration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/immigration-services.org\/?p=1886","title":{"rendered":"British Columbia invites workers, graduates and entrepreneurs to apply for immigration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/images\/_1200x630_crop_center-center_82_none\/emerald-lake-british-columbia-draw.jpg?mtime=1656366914\" alt=\"\" title=\"\">  <img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Emerald lake british columbia draw\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/images\/_newsThumbnail\/emerald-lake-british-columbia-draw.jpg\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" \/> <img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Emerald lake british columbia draw\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/images\/_newsThumbnail\/emerald-lake-british-columbia-draw.jpg\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Government of British Columbia issued 177 new invitations to apply for a provincial nomination to skilled workers, graduates, and entrepreneurs looking to immigrate to the province in a draw that took place on June 13.<\/p>\n<p>Invitations were issued\u00a0to\u00a0candidates through the\u00a0British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP)&#8217;s\u00a0Skills Immigration,\u00a0Express Entry\u00a0and Entrepreneur\u00a0streams.<\/p>\n<p>For candidates invited under the\u00a0Express Entry BC: Skilled Worker and Express Entry BC: International Graduate, a successful nomination results in 600 additional points under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)\u00a0and an Invitation to Apply (ITA) at a later federal Express Entry draw.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates invited through the Skills Immigration categories\u00a0will\u00a0have their\u00a0applications for permanent residence processed outside the Express Entry system after they receive a nomination from BC.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Individuals interested in immigrating to Canada through the BC PNP must begin the process by creating an online profile with the BC PNP and submitting a complete registration form.
