The pilot issues invitations to qualified registrants in any immigration category who have valid job offers in the 32 key technology occupations.<\/p>\n<p>Registrants who were issued an invitation have 30 calendar days from the day they received it to submit their application for provincial nomination. Applicants who are nominated by B.C. can then apply for permanent resident status.<\/p>\n<p>The cut-off scores in the latest draws were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Skills Immigration \u2014 Skilled Worker: 80 <\/li>\n<li>Skills Immigration \u2014 International Graduate: 75<\/li>\n<li>Skills Immigration \u2014 Entry Level and Semi-Skilled: 40<\/li>\n<li>Express Entry BC \u2014 Skilled Worker: 80<\/li>\n<li>Express Entry BC \u2014 International Graduate: 75<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Express Entry candidates with a provincial nomination receive an additional 600 points toward their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, making an Invitation To Apply for Canadian permanent residence likely in a subsequent draw from the Express Entry people.<\/p>\n<p>In order to be considered under the BC PNP, most candidates must have an indeterminate, full-time job offer from an employer in the province who is willing to support you through the application process.<\/p>\n<p>Individuals must create a profile with BC PNP Online and complete all sections of the registration form. Applicants receive a score based on the information they supply and are entered in the selection pool for the immigration category they selected.<\/p>\n<p>The BC PNP conducts periodic draws from the pool and issues invitations to apply for provincial nomination to the highest-scoring registrants from each category.<\/p>\n<p>British Columbia had a 2017 allocation of 6,000 provincial nominations.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><b>Wondering if you are eligible for the BC PNP, or other immigration programs? Candidates must be eligible to enter the federal Express Entry pool. A successful application under this category results in the candidate receiving 600 points under the\u00a0Comprehensive Ranking System\u00a0(CRS) and a subsequent ITA at the federal level.<\/p>\n<p>To learn more about the Express Entry BC \u2013 Skilled Worker category,\u00a0click here.<\/p>\n<h3>Express Entry BC \u2013 International Graduate<\/h3>\n<p>International graduates who have graduated from a Canadian university or college within the past two years may be eligible to apply under the Express Entry BC \u2013 International Graduate category. Interestingly, this category is open to\u00a0eligible graduates who graduated from a university or college in any location in Canada; it is not restricted to graduates from BC universities and colleges.
