{"id":23,"date":"2024-08-19T12:36:01","date_gmt":"2024-08-19T12:36:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/immigration-services.org\/?p=23"},"modified":"2024-08-19T12:36:01","modified_gmt":"2024-08-19T12:36:01","slug":"canadas-express-entry-draw-results-from-july-8-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/immigration-services.org\/?p=23","title":{"rendered":"Canada&#8217;s Express Entry Draw Results from July 8, 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/images\/_1200x630_crop_center-center_82_none\/CV-Super-visa-v2-1.jpg?mtime=1656366586\" alt=\"\">  <\/p>\n<p>In today&#8217;s draw, IRCC issued 3,200 more\u00a0ITAs in a category-based\u00a0draw for eligible French-language proficiency\u00a0candidates with\u00a0a\u00a0minimum\u00a0Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 420.<\/p>\n<p>Note: This is the first time that IRCC has conducted four Express Entry draws in seven days since December 18-21, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Express Entry<\/p>\n<p>IRCC&#8217;s system for collectively managing economic immigration applications to three programs &#8211; the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC)\u00a0&#8211; is called the Express Entry system.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Since June 2023, the Express Entry system has employed\u00a0three different types of draws.\u00a0IRCC&#8217;s three draw types are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>General<\/li>\n<li>Program-specific<\/li>\n<li>Category-based<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As outlined below, there are notable differences between\u00a0these draw types.<\/p>\n<p>General and Program-specific Express Entry Draws<\/p>\n<p>Both part of IRCC&#8217;s Express Entry system since it was first introduced in 2015, these\u00a0two draw types both prioritize immigration candidates who have the highest CRS scores.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Note:\u00a0CRS scores are values that each eligible Express Entry candidate is assigned by\u00a0IRCC to represent their combined score based on a number of different human capital factors (age, work experience, official language proficiency etc.).<\/p>\n<p>For these two draw types, there are three general steps between deciding you want to immigrate to Canada and receiving an ITA from IRCC.\u00a0They are as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Confirm that you are eligible for at least one Express Entry-managed program (see list above)<\/li>\n<li>Create an online profile with IRCC (at the same time,\u00a0receive your CRS score)<\/li>\n<li>Wait for IRCC to conduct its next Express Entry draw, at which time you will know whether you\u00a0will be given\u00a0an ITA\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Note: ITAs, which are the only way for Express Entry candidates to eventually submit an\u00a0electronic Application for Permanent Residence (eAPR) to IRCC, are only given to candidates with a\u00a0CRS score greater than the\u00a0department&#8217;s cut-off a particular draw.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Visit this dedicated webpage\u00a0to learn more about Express Entry.<\/p>\n<p>Category-Based Express Entry Draws<\/p>\n<p>In June 2023, IRCC conducted its first category-based Express Entry\u00a0draw.
