Mon projet Qu\u00e9bec<\/em>, the immigration application management system used by the government of Quebec for its Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP), will be offline from May 26 until 8.30 a.m. (Montreal time\/E.S.T.) on June 1. The stated reason for the system being offline is due to technical maintenance of the system.<\/p>\n

In any event,\u00a0Quebec’s Minister of Immigration, Diversity and Inclusiveness, Kathleen Weil, had announced in February\u00a0that online applications for the\u00a0QSWP will be suspended until June 13, 2016. The only exceptions \u2014 and therefore the only individuals affected by this maintenance downtime until June 1 \u2014 are applicants who have enclosed a validated employment offer with the application for a selection certificate submitted under the QSWP, and temporary residents in Quebec who are eligible to submit an application for a Quebec Selection Certificate\/certificat de selection du Qu\u00e9bec<\/em>\u00a0(CSQ).<\/p>\n

In February, the Minist\u00e8re de l’Immigration, de la Diversit\u00e9 et de l’Inclusion<\/em>\u00a0(the Quebec government department overseeing immigration to the province) announced the following schedule for the QSWP:<\/p>\n
