The Mon projet Qu\u00e9bec<\/em> application management system, a new secure online space for managing applications to the Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP) for immigration to Canada, has been experiencing significant technical problems through the morning of February 16, 2016.<\/p>\n

This day was due to be the first day the program would accept the submission of new applications from candidates who had registered an account in\u00a0Mon projet Qu\u00e9bec<\/em> between January 5 and January 25, the period during which it was possible to create an account in the system. The\u00a0Minist\u00e8re de l’Immigration, de la Diversit\u00e9 et de l’Inclusion<\/em>\u00a0(MIDI), the government ministry overseeing immigration to Quebec, had previously stated that as of February 16, 2016, at 8:30 a.m. EST (Montreal time), all candidates who have a Mon projet Qu\u00e9bec<\/em> account and who have completed their application would\u00a0be able to submit it by clicking the submission button.<\/p>\n

However, a new message was posted on the government of Quebec’s website\u00a0less than two hours after the system was scheduled to open for new applications.<\/p>\n

The English version states:\u00a0Due to a technical failure, Mon project Qu\u00e9bec is not on line. To be fair to all applicants, the Minist\u00e8re will announce the opening of the system at least 24 hours in advance.<\/em><\/p>\n

The French version states:\u00a0Un bris technique a emp\u00each\u00e9 la mise en ligne de Mon projet Qu\u00e9bec. Par souci d’\u00e9quit\u00e9 pour tous les candidats, Le Minist\u00e8re annoncera l’ouverture du syst\u00e8me au minimum 24\u00a0heures \u00e0 l’avance.<\/em><\/p>\n

It can now be confirmed that the system did not open at 8.30 a.m. and it was not possible for candidates to submit an application.<\/p>\n

Updates to any further changes in the QSWP\/Mon projet Qu\u00e9bec\u00a0<\/em>will be posted in the news section on CanadaVisa.com as and when they occur.<\/p>\n
