In today&#8217;s draw, ITAs were issued\u00a0to eligible category-based draw candidates with experience in healthcare occupations, all of whom\u00a0had a\u00a0minimum\u00a0Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 445.<\/p>\n<p>This draw follows two additional Express Entry draws this week, a category-based draw for eligible trade occupation candidates (July 4, 2024)\u00a0and a program-specific draw for Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates (July 2, 2024).\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The July 4 draw for candidates with work experience in trade occupations saw IRCC issue 1,800 ITAs to candidates with a minimum CRS of 436<\/li>\n<li>The July 2 PNP draw saw IRCC issue 920 ITAs to candidates with a minimum CRS score of 739<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Express Entry<\/p>\n<p>Express Entry is what IRCC has named the\u00a0application management system used to handle all applicants who attempt to immigrate to\u00a0Canada through\u00a0the following\u00a0three economic-class\u00a0permanent residence (PR) programs:<\/p>\n<p>Since June 2023, the Canadian immigration department\u00a0has issued ITAs through three different draw types. The names of these draw types are as follows:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>General<\/li>\n<li>Program-specific<\/li>\n<li>Category-based<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>General and Program-specific Express Entry Draws<\/p>\n<p>These are IRCC&#8217;s original two draw types, which have been part of the Express Entry system since it was first introduced in 2015.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>These two draw types focus on welcoming\u00a0immigration candidates with the highest\u00a0CRS scores. These scores are assigned by IRCC to all eligible Express Entry candidates based on a variety of\u00a0human capital factors such as age, education, and work experience.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The process of obtaining an ITA from IRCC through one of these draw types involves three general steps.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>First, candidates must self-verify their\u00a0eligibility for a minimum of\u00a0one Express Entry-managed program. At this time, eligible candidates can proceed to\u00a0create an IRCC profile online\u00a0and receive their CRS score. Now, eligible candidates with a profile must wait until IRCC issues their next round of invitations to see\u00a0whether they\u00a0will receive an ITA.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Note:\u00a0The term &#8220;round of invitations&#8221; is synonymous with &#8220;Express Entry draw&#8221;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>To\u00a0receive an ITA from IRCC, candidates are required to possess\u00a0a CRS score above the department&#8217;s cut-off for that given round of invitations. Additionally, it is important to know that\u00a0ITAs are the only way Express Entry candidates will be permitted\u00a0to submit an\u00a0electronic Application for Permanent Residence (eAPR) to IRCC.<\/p>\n<p>Category-Based Express Entry Draws<\/p>\n<p>In June 2023, IRCC conducted the first category-based draw in department history. This new draw type was introduced as, and has become, a new way for the immigration department\u00a0to\u00a0attract immigration candidates to Canada based on their previous\u00a0work experience and existing proficiencies.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, based on an assessment of the attributes IRCC has deemed to be &#8220;in-demand&#8221; for Canada&#8217;s labour force and demographics, the department has chosen\u00a0to focus on candidates with the following work experience and proficiencies through category-based draws in 2024:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Healthcare work experience<\/li>\n<li>Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)\u00a0work experience<\/li>\n<li>Trades industry\u00a0work experience<\/li>\n<li>Transport industry\u00a0work experience<\/li>\n<li>Agriculture and Agri-Food industry\u00a0work experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong French language proficiency\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Complete our FREE Assessment form to see if you are eligible to immigrate to Canada<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/news\/canada-express-entry-draw-results-week-of-july-1-2024.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Source<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In IRCC&#8217;s third Express Entry\u00a0draw this week, the department has\u00a0issued 3,750\u00a0Invitations to Apply (ITAs).
