The government of Quebec has released a news update regarding Mon projet Qu\u00e9bec<\/em>, an online immigration application management system used by the province of Quebec to process applications under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP).<\/p>\n

The new system, which was launched on January 5, 2016 in anticipation of the reopening of the program for new applications on January 18, had experienced some technical difficulties over its opening days. A number of potential candidates for immigration to Canada through the QSWP had been unable to access the system.<\/p>\n

\u2018Due to a strong interest in Quebec and increased traffic to the site, access to <\/em>Mon projet Qu\u00e9bec can be difficult. Indeed, to ensure the stability of the secure space, a limited number of users are allowed to connect to it simultaneously. We invite those who obtain an error message to try again at a later time,’ <\/em>said the statement, which was published on the government of Quebec’s website.<\/p>\n

\u2018Some technical errors have also been reported to us by users. We assure you that our teams are working continuously to improve the performance of the site and we thank you for your patience. We remain receptive to your comments and will do everything in our power to improve access to the service, as well as its stability.\u2019*<\/em><\/p>\n

Mon projet Qu\u00e9bec<\/em> allows candidates to complete an application for a Quebec Selection Certificate\/certificat de selection du Qu\u00e9bec<\/em> (CSQ), make their payment online, follow the status of their application, make changes to their application, and access personal electronic messaging throughout the process.<\/p>\n

The next application submission period, which will welcome up to 2,800 fresh applications to the QSWP through Mon project Qu\u00e9bec<\/em>, begins on January 18, 2016, and may run until March 31, 2016 at the latest.<\/p>\n
