Manitoba is the third province (after Alberta and British Columbia) that the federal government has begun collaborating with to ensure that these workers are guaranteed safe working conditions and the fulfillment of employment contracts.<\/p>\n<p>    &#8220;Temporary foreign workers help Manitoba&#8217;s economy grow and succeed and many more are entering our province every year,&#8221; stated the Manitoba Minister of    Labour and Immigration, Nancy Allan. &#8220;By developing this LOU, both our levels of government are demonstrating that we can work together to protect the    rights of temporary foreign workers and Manitoba will soon introduce legislation to regulate recruiters of these workers.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>    Over the past 18 months, the federal government has been working on improving the Temporary Foreign Worker Program by facilitating the entry of these    workers to Canada and by focusing on the protection of their rights while they are here.<\/p>\n<p> Please visit:  <br \/> <a href=\"https:\/\/teo-bg.com\/en\/tractors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Our Sponsor<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Human Resources and Social Development Canada is working with the province of Manitoba to develop a Letter of Understanding (LOU) that will strengthen protections for temporary foreign workers.
