{"id":2870,"date":"2024-10-03T02:28:21","date_gmt":"2024-10-03T02:28:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/immigration-services.org\/?p=2870"},"modified":"2024-10-03T02:28:21","modified_gmt":"2024-10-03T02:28:21","slug":"new-processing-procedures-for-gulf-residents","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/immigration-services.org\/?p=2870","title":{"rendered":"New processing procedures for Gulf residents"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/images\/_1200x630_crop_center-center_82_none\/canadavisa-canadian-immigration-law-firm.png?mtime=1656366736\" alt=\"\" title=\"\">  <\/p>\n<p> Gulf residents applying for Canadian permanent residency in pre-defined categories will be processed through the Abu Dhabi Embassy, instead of the previous London (UK) Visa Office beginning on January 1, 2006.<\/p>\n<p>    The affected countries are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>        Bahrain<\/li>\n<li>        Kuwait<\/li>\n<li>        Oman<\/li>\n<li>        Qatar<\/li>\n<li>        United Arab Emirates<\/li>\n<li>        Saudi Arabia<\/li>\n<li>        Yemen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>    Applications that will be processed through Abu Dhabi are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>        Family Class (all categories)<\/li>\n<li>        Protected Persons<\/li>\n<li>        Quebec Cases (all categories)<\/li>\n<li>        Provincial Nominees<\/li>\n<li>        Dependants of the Live-in Caregiver Class in Canada<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>    London will continue to process all applications from these classes that it receives prior to January 1, 2006.
