{"id":3296,"date":"2024-10-12T03:48:24","date_gmt":"2024-10-12T03:48:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/immigration-services.org\/?p=3296"},"modified":"2024-10-12T03:48:24","modified_gmt":"2024-10-12T03:48:24","slug":"u-s-immigration-issues-good-for-canada","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/immigration-services.org\/?p=3296","title":{"rendered":"U.S. Immigration Issues Good for Canada"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/images\/_1200x630_crop_center-center_82_none\/usa-map.jpg?mtime=1656366388\" alt=\"\" title=\"\">  <img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Usa map\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/images\/_newsThumbnail\/usa-map.jpg\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" \/> <img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Usa map\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/images\/_newsThumbnail\/usa-map.jpg\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p> During a visit to Vancouver this past Wednesday, Federal Employment Minister Jason Kenney highlighted Canada\u2019s opportunity to take advantage of the current state of the United States\u2019 immigration system by attracting young foreign nationals from the tech sector.<\/p>\n<p>    Minister Kenney endorsed efforts by the Government of Canada to attract educated immigrants with degrees earned in the United States to settle in Canada in    the wake of American policy obstacles that have made it difficult for them to earn green cards.<\/p>\n<p>    \u201cWe\u2019re seeking very deliberately to benefit from the dysfunctional American immigration system,\u201d said Minister Kenney. \u201cIf the United States doesn\u2019t want    to open the door to permanent residency for them, that door will be opened in principle for them to come to Canada.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>    Minister Kenney made the announcement at a library in West Vancouver, where he was visiting to reveal a $3.3 million funding package for the British    Columbia government.
