The Saskatchewan PNP is officially called\u00a0Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).\u00a0Invited candidates were eligible for a nomination\u00a0through the International Skilled Worker category under\u00a0the SINP.<\/p>\n
The International Skilled Worker Category has two subcategories:\u00a0<\/p>\n
Of those invited,\u00a0171 immigration candidates were invited through the\u00a0Express Entry subcategory, and 281 were invited through the Occupations In-Demand subcategory.<\/p>\n
Immigration candidates first needed to submit an\u00a0Expression of Interest (EOI) profile, and have a score\u00a0of at\u00a0least 73 EOI points. They also needed to get an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) to show that their foreign credential is comparable to a Canadian one.<\/p>\n
In addition, they needed\u00a0to have\u00a0work experience in one of 65 in-demand\u00a0occupations.\u00a0These occupations are listed on this government webpage.<\/p>\n
Saskatchewan, as well as many other provinces,\u00a0uses the EOI system to choose candidates who will most likely succeed in the province’s labour market.\u00a0<\/p>\n
If you want to immigrate to Saskatchewan, you must first create an\u00a0EOI profile. Based on the information you provide on your profile, you will be given a point score. This score is based on factors such as work experience, education, language ability, age as well as connections to the province.<\/p>\n
Connections to the province can be having a job offer, or having a relative living in Saskatchewan.<\/p>\n
Your point score is out of 100, and will be\u00a0according to the International Skilled Worker Points Assessment Grid. During every draw, the highest scoring candidates are invited to apply for a provincial nomination.<\/p>\n

Canada uses the\u00a0Express Entry system to manage permanent residence applications through the three main economic class immigration programs:<\/p>\n
Many provinces, including Saskatchewan,\u00a0also have provincial streams that are\u00a0aligned with Express Entry. Saskatchewan invited 281 candidates under the Occupations In-Demand sub-category.\u00a0You do not need to have an Express Entry profile to be eligible for this sub-category.<\/p>\n
If you have work experience in an in-demand occupation in Saskatchewan, then this sub-category is for you.<\/p>\n
You don’t need to have a job offer to be eligible. Foreign nationals are required to create an EOI profile through the province’s online application system.\u00a0<\/p>\n
