Today, IRCC issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to 4,300 Express Entry candidates in an all-program draw.\u00a0This draw invited eligible candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 496.<\/p>\n
The following will summarize all Express Entry draw results since June 27, the last time IRCC conducted an all-program draw before the first-ever category-based Express Entry draw took place on June 28, 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n
August 1-3<\/p>\n
The latest Express Entry draw before today’s round of invitations took place on August 3rd, when IRCC issued 1,500 ITAs to immigration candidates in a category-based draw for those with work experience in the trades. The minimum CRS score for this draw was 388.\u00a0<\/p>\n
On\u00a0August 2nd,\u00a0IRCC held a category-based draw\u00a0for candidates with French-language proficiency. This draw\u00a0saw 800 ITAs issued to those with a minimum CRS score of 435. This was\u00a0the first category-based draw for French speakers\u00a0since July 12th, 2023.<\/p>\n
August 1:\u00a0IRCC held an all-program Express Entry draw where the department\u00a0invited 2,000 candidates (with a minimum CRS score of 517)\u00a0from all three programs encompassed within the Express Entry system\u00a0 –\u00a0the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).<\/p>\n
July 12<\/p>\n
On July 12, when IRCC invited 3,800 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 375 to apply for permanent residence (PR) in Canada. This was a French language category-based\u00a0draw.\u00a0<\/p>\n
July 11<\/p>\n
IRCC conducted an all-program draw on July 11, issuing 800 ITAs to Canadian immigration\u00a0candidates\u00a0with a minimum CRS score of 505 to apply for permanent residence in Canada. This was an all-program draw, meaning that candidates who applied through any of the three programs under the Express Entry application management system were considered for an ITA. \u00a0<\/p>\n
July 4-7<\/p>\n
July 7:\u00a02,300 ITAs were issued to candidates with a CRS score of at least 439 in a French language category-based draw.<\/p>\n
July 6:\u00a01,500 ITAs were issued to candidates with a minimum CRS score of 463 in a\u00a0category-based draw for people in healthcare occupations.<\/p>\n
July 5:\u00a0500 ITAs were issued to candidates with a CRS score of at least 486 in a STEM occupation category-based draw.<\/p>\n
July 4:\u00a0700 ITAs were issued to candidates with a minimum CRS score of 511 in an all-program draw.<\/p>\n
June 28<\/p>\n
First-ever category-based Express Entry draw saw the Canadian federal government invite 500 immigration candidates to apply for PR in Canada. This round of invitations was focused on candidates with experience in\u00a0healthcare occupations and invited those with a minimum CRS score of 476.<\/p>\n
June 27<\/p>\n
4,300 ITAs were issued to candidates with a CRS score of at least 486 in a standard all-program draw.<\/p>\n
Express Entry<\/p>\n
Express Entry is the name of Canada’s federal\u00a0immigration application management system. This system\u00a0manages immigration applications for three economic immigration\u00a0programs, the FSWP, the FSTP and the CEC.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Prior to the first-ever category-based draw on June 28 this year, candidates were assessed based on their human capital factors (including work experience, professional fields, language skills, education, and age) and ranked using an\u00a0assigned CRS\u00a0score. This score, if above the CRS cut-off score for a particular Express Entry draw, would mean a candidate will receive an ITA during that draw.<\/p>\n
Since June 28 this year, IRCC has conducted\u00a0Express Entry draws focused on attracting immigration candidates with\u00a0specific professional and demographic attributes to help Canada address particular nationwide needs and labour gaps. For 2023, IRCC is prioritizing Express Entry candidates who have work experience or language proficiency\u00a0that align with these\u00a0six new categories:<\/p>\n

\u2022 STEM professions
\u2022 Trades
\u2022 Transport
\u2022 Agriculture and agri-food
\u2022 French-language proficiency<\/p>\n
